Catch rising star, DionnaMarie, before she rockets into the fashion stratosphere!

This fiercely, fashionable, femme-fatale hones her craft in NYC, her home since returning from Milan-- where she studied (and graduated top of her class!) fashion design at the Istituto Marangoni.

Her company tagline is aptly relevant: "Sexy. Sophisticated. Style." And her entire collection is befitting the designation!

DionnaMarie's range and talent is evident in the evolution of her lines. Originally, the company created cocktail dresses and classic sportswear, but have since ventured into new territory-- urban inspired lifestyle pieces-- geared towards a younger clientele, while still creating individual dress requests for clients!

This model is wearing an Audrey Hepburn-inspired dress from DionnaMarie's first line. I love the collar and cuff detail!

Read on for my interview with DionnaMarie:

StyleChile: When did you become interested in designing?
DionnaMarie: I am not sure when exactly I became interested in designing; however I can say that I have always been interested in fashion. I used to go through my parent's and grandmother's closets OFTEN! I have always been a fairly creative person as well.

StyleChile: Who were your fashion influences?
DionnaMarie: Originally I would have to say my mother and Aunt Marie. They both absolutely love clothes and have extensive closets full of various styles. I also have always been awed by my favorite Audrey Hepburn. Upon studying fashion and learning about the history of the industry, my favorites became Cristobal Balenciaga and Christian Dior.

StyleChile: How do you manage to stay fashionable?
DionnaMarie: Personally, I stick to what I like and what works for me. As a designer it’s imperative to listen to your clients and do research.

StyleChile: Do you have any tips or words of advice for today's fun, fashionable, females?
DionnaMarie: I say do what works best for you and stick with that, but never be afraid to try something new!!

StyleChile: How do you stay inspired?
DionnaMarie: I am blessed.
