Life & Style weekly rounds up a few picks inspired by the latest block method. Check out this week's issue to get more info on one of this fall's hottest trends!

Check out additional color block options (and where to buy) below.

Left to Right. Top: Paul Smith logo silk scarf, $105.00 on Paul Smith's website; Coach's legacy stripe enamel bangle, $78.00; Cotton Faille dress, Isaac Mizrahi New York, $285; (previously featured here). Middle: Jonathan Saunders Brent block color dress, $1635.00, available on net-a-porter; Miu Miu contrast color brogue pumps, $525.00 on net-a-porter; Loeffler Randall black and white color block dress, $375; or at select Neiman Marcus stores; Silk twill scarf, Emilio Pucci, $120; orange and pink suede flats, Nine West, $35 (net proceeds will benefit a variety of breast-cancer charities). Bottom: TopShop sequin clutch bag £18.00; WD. NY's silk crepe de chine dress $168.00; Sam Edelman's leather flat with metal trim, $95.00 on or at Macy's West; Alice & Trixie cotton dress, available for $276 on

Spice up these season's greys and blacks with an infusion of color! It will be hard to succumb to the winter blues in one of these bright numbers. My favorite interpretations of the trend are below. Electric blue is a major "it" color for fall!

TopShop's triangle panel elastic belt is only £18.00. My sister-in-law bought Nine West's toggle mary janes, $79.00, in electric blue...I got them in fucshia (the colors are available on Amazon).
