ARM CANDY!

Bangles, bracelets, cuffs, wristlets, are all such an easy way to spice up an outfit! Check out the celebrities below for inspiration.

Whether you want to go Bollywood like Drew; Mayan like Jennifer; or Grecian like Marley Shelton, a lot of bling on either--or both arms--will take a simple outfit to the next level.

Styletip: Avoid busy prints and big hair (try a chignon or low ponytail). Wear minimal makeup with this trend. Check out my arm candy picks below!

Crew's hand-painted Palm Beach enamel bangle is $68.00; Lulu's Fashion Lounge multicolored mosaic bracelet-$8.00; Topshop's woven mesh link bracelet is £8.00; and Banana Republic's enamel bangle is $32.00. SUMMER COATS?

I like! Somehow, I think this trend will stay with us until autumn ;)

The Sartorialist captured the woman on the left in Italy--her coat doesn't look very weather appropriate though; it's so much coat for such a sunny day! Claudette Ortiz does a better job wearing her short, sleek coat...notwithstanding it's length (and breadth), I definitely prefer the coat on the left. It reminds me of Lindsay's Dolce & Gabbana coat below. Bebe's flared trench is a reasonable alternative at $139.00.

DRESS FOR LESS: TIBI + MALANDRINO

Get the less expensive version of two of this summer's hottest dresses!

I'm still so torn! On the one hand, I'm really not mad at these reasonably priced alternatives...but the Wetseal version (copy?) of this Tibi and Malandrino are a bit too close for comfort.

Tibi...or not to be?

Malandrino...or no?

Top: Tibi's zebra print dress is now $184.00 on net-a-porter. Wetseal's border print halter dress is only $24.50. Bottom: Catherine Malandrino's sequined minidress is £640.00 on the net-a-porter's UK site. Wetseal's mod three color dress in brown is...$22.50!

See my thoughts on a similar issue-- Forever 21 v. Diane von Furstenberg here. What do you think?

STARRY NIGHT

Add a touch of cool to these balmy summer nights. There's something about the color blue (all shades) that is so calming. These navy numbers are understated in their solemnity, but the sparkles rev up the glam factor!

My starry midnight blue pick for the summer is this French Connection "lines sequin" dress--available on the UK site for £91.00 (I've seen them in stores here in the NY, but the dress is not on the US website)...

Celebs have been loving this color too. Sarah Jessica Parker sports an Alice + Olivia; Beyonce rocks a Cavalli; Jessica Simpson wears Herve Leger; but I couldn't figure out the designer of Serena Williams' dress! Let me know if you can...
